Join us for after-school fun! This program is designed to challenge and inspire students through fun, hands-on electronics projects crafted to promote interest and competency in science, technology, engineering, art, math, and design (the STEM / STEAM disciplines). The experiences foster excitement, curiosity, and an interest in learning by encouraging students to think of themselves as engineers and inventors!
Since taking the helm in April, Executive Director Wayne LaBar, a 30-year veteran in the business, has set about implementing what the center is calling the "Four Corners Transformation" campaign, which seeks to turn the center into a regional player.
The Powerhouse is pleased to announce the first annual Powerhouse Maker Honorees. The Powerhouse Maker Honorees are a select group of individuals and organizations that are emblematic of the ingenuity, perseverance, ability to innovate, succeed and survive in the Four Corners area in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math and education. These are individuals and organizations that lead by example and provide models for others in our community and in our world.
